Children too are a gift from YHVH; the fruit of the womb is a reward. The children born when one is young are like arrows in the hand of a warrior. How blessed is the man who has filled his quiver with them; he will not have to be embarrassed when contending with foes at the city gate. Psalms 127:3-7

21 weeks

21 weeks yesterday!

Here is a pic of my growing belly! I am soaking wet here as we had just arrived home from camping where it was pouring!

I am thinking I am going to be HUGE by the end of this pregnancy!

We spent 4 nights camping this week. It rained on 2 days one which was the pack up day. It was freezing cold and the toilet was a 5 min walk away - not the best thing when your pregnant! It was hard and I was completely exhausted when we got home. I think the hardest part was having a very active 18 month old to constantly watch.

My cold has finally gone away. Even my hayfever had calmed down while we were away but it is back now we are home. I am thinking it is something in my house that is,making me sneeze and have such a runny nose. I just need to find what it is.

I am still feeling pretty well. Still sick on and off but no where near like before. Actually I already have forgotten how bad the morning sickness was. It's amazing how your body works that way! I'm sure it's so we will do it again!

Not really having any cravings. I am enjoying avacado and tomato on toast but that's about all really.

I was suppose to meet with Sonja last Tuesday but didn't because of sickness and we are trying to organize another time.

I am feeling this baby girl so much now and am really loving it. Most of the movement is pretty low but is getting stronger everyday. She is always kicking while I am feeding Essence. I love her so much already!

20 weeks

Well I am 20 weeks today - half way there (well probably not for me as I expect I will go over like I have done with my last 4).

I am still sick with this horrible cold. This whole week my nose has been running and I have felt horrible but being a busy mum I still ran around doing everything that needs to doing. We are going camping this week and there was (still is) so much to get ready! Yesterday it hit me bad. I woke up to terrible pain in my ear (it started off in my dream) and it got worse. My whole face was sore. I was pretty sure it was a sinus infection as a normally a cold would start to get better after a week but this isn't. Anyway today I have woken up feeling a bit better. The pain is gone but my nose is still really runny :( I have lots I need to do before we leave.

Sonja was coming ovee tomorrow for my 20 week check but because I still feel bad I am going to cancel it.

Morning sickness is gone! I just haven't had the chance to enjoy it because of this cold.

There is nothing I have really been craving.

I am feeling baby move lots and am loving it. I can feel the difference between her kicks and when she is rolling around. Last night I saw my belly move! I love this part!

It's a girl!

Today I had my 18-20 week ultrasound. Everything looked perfect! We had a great ultrasound technician. Jay came with me and got to see pictures of his third daughter for the first time!

It's a girl! This actually the first time I have ever had pictures of the babies gender. We saw very clearly the three lines for a girl.

This is the her face in 3D. Its a bit blurry because she kept moving!

and her cute little hands. We got lots of pictures but they aren't very clear once they have been taken a photo of.

Week 19

I can't believe I just wrote 19 weeks! Time is ticking on by nice and fast.

This week I am feeling the baby move so much. I am loving all the little movements. The baby is kicking lots when Essence is on my lap and especially when she is feeding. I am needing to wrap her around my tummy now so she doesn't squish the baby :)
I have also felt the baby on the outside. I'm already so in love with this little one.

Donna came for a visit on Thursday and bought the doppler so I got to hear the little heartbeat. It's always reassuring to hear the baby's heart.

I have had a bit of a cold this week with a very runny nose. Not really feeling sick but just feeling a bit yuk. Morning sickness has almost gone. I am almost feeling normal. I am still quite sensitive to smells etc... and somethings just make me want to be sick but generally it's all getting better!

I haven't had to many cravings. Just generally liking food much more. I am loving the smell if beetroot and am having beetroot on all of my sandwiches. Smells are still really strong. I'm still loving Jay's aftershave and the lavender handwash and also washing powder. I usually use homemade washing liquid but it has no smell so I have switched to a store bought one. This is the first pregnancy I have enjoyed smells! So funny how that works

My ultrasound is on Friday. Only 4 more sleeps. I am super excited to have another look at our little one.

Week 18

I am 18 weeks and 2 days.
I am finally feeling better! Pregnancy sickness has pretty much left. I still fill sick throughout the day but it doesn't last long. I'm so happy. It's amazing to feel almost normal again!

I have had a pretty quiet week this week. Just been home trying to catch up on all the things that need doing here.

I am liking food again and am enjoying being able to eat.

I have been laying down with Essence at night to get her to sleep. It takes a long time (at least an hour) and the room is dark so I usually end up falling asleep with her! I do try to take the opportunity to focus on the baby. I feel most of the movements at night, when all is quiet. I'm feeling lots of little movements near my left hip. Most movement I feel is on the left side down low. Today I've felt the baby lots. I love it. I think I even felt it on the outside. I was pressing hard (not too hard) but it's hard to tell at first if it's on the outside as well as the inside! I love this part of pregnancy.

I'm still tired but am getting my energy back. Love having energy!

Am still really looking forward to my big scan next Friday. I can't wait to confirm that the baby is a girl!
